Perspectives About Popular Culture

Pop culture or usually called “mainstream culture” by Indonesian is a culture which always develop every time and it is always change by the time. Indonesian every year always add pop culture, such as mobile legend game in entertainment media, instagram in social media, and e-commerce for buy anything about. This essay will explain about two perspectives about popular culture from culture perspective and society perspective.

            Indonesian always holds their heritage, they always do everything based on oriental tradition, but after the popular culture has come to Indonesia. There are different perspective from culture about this. Firstly, the culture always undergoes transformation, so this moment increase a number of cultures. Amount of culture in Indonesia is very much and it always increase. Secondly, popular culture gives bad impacts for culture in Indonesia, especially old culture. The bad impact which given by popular culture is the old culture changed gradually forget about their old culture. Thus, the popular culture gives good impact and also bad impact.

            Besides, the society also has different perspective. Firstly, people usually love popular culture, they use examples of popular culture such as mobile game and social media. Therefore, people usually use it as alternative entertainment media. Secondly, today the information increases very well through information media and internet. The information keeps sharing to every person and it is help society to increase knowledge quality fast. The last, people love the product of popular culture in trade world, it is called e-commerce. The e-commerce helps society to increase economic condition, now people prefer to e-commerce for buy something. Thus, popular culture is more interested  by society perspective.

            In summary, popular culture gave differences perspective in society and culture. Giving more attention and understanding how we should do in our society as human being. More importen things that we should remembered, not being different and felt luxurius that others. As we know pop culture likes adoption different culture from another countries that looks like luxurius because trent and sosial life. People think that pop culture is not origionaly culture from our nation, so that it should made different perspection and bad behavior.

In conclusion we should to filter anythink culture expexially pop culture from another countrie that have bad impact for young generation in the our nation and potentially to grab interest young generation to conserve Indonesian culture. So that, indosian culture always be priority behavior from young generation to do in daily activity.
